Our website gives you all the information you need to prepare your cycling outings along the route.

 

In order to provide you with this information in digestible form, we have divided the route into five sections and 29 stages. This means you can easily find specific information at local level.

- the variation in altitude along the stage

You can also download the route tracks in GPX. format and print out the route and detailed descriptions.

Finding a service along the route

Our website allows you to locate specialist services on or near the route.

Using our interactive maps of the various sections and stages, it’s easy to locate:

  • accommodation
  • bicycle-hire and bicycle-repair companies
  • tourist offices
  • train stations to help you get around
  • tourist sites to visit
  • danger spots and places at which to take special care along the route

Getting around by train

There are many train stations close to the cycle route that can enable you to tailor a stage by shortening it or by allowing you to return to your initial point of departure if you need.

On regional TER trains, it is easy to transport your bike. On other types of train, there may be certain conditions for taking your bike on board which you need to bear in mind.
